Louis Foster is in high spirits as the BRDC British F3 heads to Donington Park

August 14, 2020

Louis Foster is in high spirits as the BRDC British F3 Championship heads to Donington Park for the second round of the season.

The Double R Racing driver enjoyed a successful start to life in the championship at the season-opening weekend at Oulton Park as he took double pole position in emphatic style and claimed his maiden podium finish later in the weekend.

The Ignition backed driver had the measure of many, more experienced drivers and confirmed his reputation as one to watch in the series this year.

As the championship presses on to Donington Park, Louis is confident of another good showing this weekend.

The Donington Park circuit is Louis’ second most successful track on the calendar as the Lord Wandsworth College pupil has claimed two wins at the circuit, one apiece in the Ginetta Junior Championship and British F4 as well as three further podium finishes across both series.

“Oulton Park was a great way to start the season so I’ll be looking to carry that momentum on this weekend," Louis said. "I’ve got a really good understanding of the track at Donington Park, I’ve had some good results here in the past so that should help me on my way and I’m continuing to learn more about the car each time I get in it so I’m really looking forward to getting out on track.”

The weekend begins with qualifying at 11:00 on Saturday morning, followed by the first race later in the afternoon at 15:20. The action continues on Sunday with the remaining two races taking place at 10:15 and 15:40 respectively.
