At Ignition we are pleased to work with a range of selected partners that share our vision to support businesses of all sizes. We believe we are stronger together and by working with our partners, who have been carefully chosen for their specialist knowledge and expertise in their field, we can offer all of our clients a more complete service. We also work together on internal projects and research, supporting each other and sharing knowledge - adding value to each business.
The future of our sport both on and off track is hugely important. At Ignition Human Performance we are proud to work with and support young talent - as well as the teams themselves. This has seen IHP represented in British Formula 4, British Formula 3, European Formula Racing and the German Touring Cars - DTM. This season we are the Official Business Performance Partner to the ROKiT MB Motorsport team in BTCC. This sees us working with the team and their partners to unlock performance both on and off-track. Follow the #IgnitionGoRacing hashtag on Instragram to follow the team's progess.
Ignition is very proud to work with two "World Champion" charities both with Leadership and Teamwork programmes and support with fundraising events. They are "halow project" a charity co-founded by Damon Hill OBE, who work with young adults with learning disabilities, with our Managing Director Nick Butcher sitting on their board of trustees. We have also teamed up "Race Against Dementia" the charity started by Sir Jackie Stewart to help add a High-Performance Motorsport dynamic and attitude to Dementia Research.
Ignition Human Performance is the Official Business Performance Partner of British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) team MB Motorsport, with the aim of unlocking performance for their team partners.
Led by former F1 driver and 1992 Le-Mans winner, Mark Blundell, combining his three decades worth of experience at the highest level of international motorsport with the 15-times championship winning team West Surrey Racing, who themselves also helped develop driver talent such as World Champions Ayrton Senna and Mika Hakkinen, when they raced for them in British Formula 3.
Ignition Human Performance is very proud to work "the halow project", who work with young adults with learning difficulties.
They share many of the same values as Ignition, inspiring people for a better future and are passionate that the people they support have the right to expect the same life experiences and chances as any other young person.
Ignition work with halow to support these objectives by offering CV and interview support for halow young people who are on their Building Futures and a Reason to Get Up programmes. We also work with halow’s management team providing leadership training and coaching.
halow’s co-founder and Patron is 1996 F1 World Champion, Damon Hill OBE, who continues to be a strong advocate for people with learning disabilities and the work that halow project does in particular. He continues to raise vital funds through halow’s two key events; the halow 250 bike ride and Damon Hill's Karting Challenge (which Ignition enter a team into each year).
As of June 2022, Ignition Human Performance Managing Director Nick Butcher, is a Member of the Trustee Board of halow project.
If you would like more information on halow or would like to make a donation please visit www.halowproject.org.uk
Below is a video of the highlights from "The Mindset of a Champion with Damon Hill" Zoom session Ignition ran as a fundraiser for the halow project and raised well over £1,000 for the charity during the Covid-19 lockdown. Thank you to everyone who joined us and donated.
Ignition Human Performance is pleased to confirm it is joining the “Race Against Dementia”, to work with the charity’s funded Research Fellows on Leadership and Teamwork development training.
The charity was set up in 2016 by 3-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart following the diagnosis of his wife Lady Helen Stewart with the disease and sees Ignition join the likes of Red Bull Racing, McLaren and Dyson as Race Against Dementia (RAD) look to inject an “F1 Attitude” and innovate a breakthrough in dementia research.
Today, 50 million people around the world have dementia. Unless a cure is found, one in three people born today will get dementia in their lifetime. A new person develops dementia every three seconds. This crisis cannot continue.

Racing Pride is an innovative movement to positively promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity and to challenge negative stereotypes and misconceptions through the platform of motorsport.
Racing Pride was developed alongside Stonewall UK and launched on 6th June 2019 as part of Pride month 2019.
Prior to Racing Pride there has been no concerted effort to raise visibility for LGBTQ+ participants within motorsport, whether they be drivers, mechanics, engineers, fans, or those in race support, official, or associated media roles.
Through a network of driver ambassadors, commercial partners, and supporters from across the motorsport and automotive industries (drawing on allies as much as the LGBTQ+ community itself), Racing Pride intends to change this.
Racing Pride’s vision is to draw attention to the successes of LGBTQ+ people within motorsport in all of its forms and to establish the visible role-models which have been lacking to date in order to inspire further participation and encourage understanding and acceptance.
Visibility is often the first, crucial step towards true inclusion and Racing Pride has the potential to make a far-reaching impact not just within motorsport but also among its diverse fan-base and, therefore, in society as a whole.

FORMULA TO PERFORM is aimed at supporting racing drivers who are searching for the ‘edge’ and the best preparation system - with the aim of unlocking a drivers true potential and optimising performance in the cockpit.
Run by ex McLaren Driver Performance Manager Simon Reynolds. This proven formula has facilitated 16 championships in 14 series of racing.
Assisting nine Formula One drivers and preparing three racing drivers from grassroots and lower formula, through to Formula One and Two, all who won their respective championships during support phase.
Undertaking the right preparation is ‘key’ to maximising driving performance and race winning potential!
Engineering of the car is one component but the driver is the one who optimises the performance of the machine on track!
If you are a kart, formula, gentleman/female or endurance racing driver - at any level and suffer with ‘driving fatigue’ after a number of laps or test/race day events (deficits in; focus, concentration, neck and shoulder complex, lower back, steering and braking load tolerance or have to adjust your corner entry and exit technique, due to physical deficits) or you may wish to further optimise your driving potential, then consider FORMULA TO PERFORM.
